Case 3374: Mommy Makeover (Body Contouring)

This patient desired a body makeover, sometimes referred to as "mommy makeover," to improve the sagging of her breast and the contour of her abdomen, thighs and flank (love handle) areas. Mommy makeover is a generic term used to describe the multitude of procedures used to reverse the effects of having children. Pregnancy can have a negative effect on the size, shape and contour of the body, particularly the breasts & abdomen. This patient was unhappy with the sagging of her breasts and the contour of her abdominal region and outer thighs. She underwent a breast lift, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and liposuction of the flanks (love handles) & outer thighs. This was all safely completed in one procedure. She had an excellent result and is very happy with the surgeons at the Institute of Plastic Surgery serving Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Castle Rock, Monument, & Denver.
